Maddie Dauterman
PRESCHOOL TEACHER
My name is Maddie Dauterman and I am so happy to be teaching at Little Stars Preschool! I have always loved working with kids and that passion led me to getting a degree in Educational Studies. I was raised in Minnesota and went to school in Illinois, and then moved to Washington in 2017 after graduating and worked for a summer at the Woodland Park Zoo in their education department. While the Zoo was super fun, I wanted to try classroom teaching and took a position as a Preschool Teacher at Hutch Kids Child Care Center.
Since then my husband and I have moved to Snoqualmie and I was very excited to accept a position at Little Stars doing what I love, helping little minds explore the world and make their place in it.
When I’m not teaching, I love reading, baking, birdwatching and generally spending time in nature. I am so lucky to be able to share all of those passions with the kiddos at Little Stars every day and see them find their own.
